We want everyone to be able to use sneco.ua comfortably, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments. This statement covers the sneco.ua website in all languages.
The standard we aim for
Our benchmark: the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Current status
The site is partially compliant with these requirements. What we have already done:
- product images have text descriptions, and "Add to cart" buttons have labels with the product name;
- ingredients, allergens and nutritional values are given as text, not as images; allergens are shown in bold;
- the site is adapted for phones;
- the side cart works with the keyboard: focus moves into the cart and Escape closes it;
- pages have the correct language, headings and structure for screen readers.
What does not yet meet the requirements
- Some decorative headings and text on coloured backgrounds do not have enough contrast.
- Some buttons and links on phones are smaller than the recommended 44×44 pixels.
- Some older blog posts and PDF documents may not have full text descriptions.
- A full check of keyboard-only use has not been done yet.
We are fixing these issues step by step.
