What is it made of?

Cheese only. No oil, no breading, no preservatives and no flavour enhancers. The cheese is dried in a vacuum at 36–38 °C, so it is never fried — the protein and the taste of the cheese stay in.

How much cheese is in one pack?

Two to three times more than the pack weighs: about 70 g of cheese goes into 28 g of snack. The water leaves, the dry matter stays.

Does it contain lactose?

Lactose is present, as in any hard cheese, but the amount is small and depends on the variety and ageing. Aged cheeses such as cheddar and parmesan naturally contain very little — often barely measurable. If you are intolerant, judge by how you handle the same cheese in its usual form.

Is it gluten-free?

Yes. The ingredients are dairy only and no breading is used at any stage.

How long does it keep and how should I store it?

18 months in a dry place at room temperature. No fridge needed. Once opened, eat it within a couple of days — in open air the snack takes up moisture and surrounding smells and loses its crunch.

How is 14 g different from 28 g?

Only the portion size — the recipe and the taste are identical. 14 g is a single serving for a pocket, a trip or a lunchbox. 28 g is for sharing or a longer sitting.
