The snEco company produces snacks using NASA technology

Kharkiv-based snEco refused to relocate production to Europe and now makes unique cheese snacks in Mukachevo, made with NASA-inspired technology.

These Ukrainian cheese snacks are made using NASA-inspired technology and on solar power. And these crunchy treats also collected UAH 500,000 for our defenders.

Saving themselves from shelling, snEco relocated from Kharkiv to Mukachevo. Production of the first cheese snacks in Ukraine was founded by Pylyp and Vadym Hryshyn.

Once at an exhibition in the USA, the brothers tasted snacks made from hard cheese. They set themselves the goal of making something similar in Ukraine, and it turned out even better. 

"We have a fully natural product. Only we hold the patent that during drying we add absolutely nothing to the cheese. That is, here it's pure milk. As cheese was made from it, so we leave it, we just remove the moisture," — co-founder of snEco Pylyp Hryshyn.

snEco works magic with both Ukrainian cheeses and parmesan and gouda from the Netherlands. Special drying without overheating dehydrates the cheese pieces. From 100 g of cheese you get 40 g of crispy cheese balls.

"This technology is called microwave-vacuum drying. NASA actually invented it for the products they give to astronauts in orbit to weigh as little as possible while being as healthy as possible," — Pylyp Hryshyn, co-founder of snEco. In Mukachevo snEco realized a long-held dream — switched to solar energy. 
"Solar panels are a project we realized right here in Zakarpattia, since the region seems made for harvesting energy from renewable sources. In Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, there isn't as much sun, and there it's not economically feasible," — Pylyp Hryshyn, co-founder of snEco.
In addition to ecology, the company also takes care of our defenders. In the first days of the invasion, without thinking, we donated all available funds from our accounts. In total, more than UAH 500,000 was transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. "I dream that my children — my son was born here in Mukachevo, this is my third child — grow up as Ukrainians and be proud of their country. Above all — of their free country, that it will always be a free, united, independent Ukraine," — Pylyp Hryshyn, co-founder of snEco.
