The snEco company makes snacks using NASA technology

Cheese cubes on trays before drying at the snEco production facility

Kharkiv-based company snEco refused to relocate its production to Europe and now makes unique cheese snacks in Mukachevo using NASA technology.
What you get when you combine Ukrainian cheese and space technology, reports ShoTam.
These Ukrainian cheese snacks are made using NASA technology and solar energy. And these crunchy treats have also raised UAH 500,000 for our defenders.

Fleeing the shelling, snEco relocated from Kharkiv to Mukachevo. Ukraine's first cheese snack production was set up by Pylyp and Vadym Gryshyn.

Once, at an exhibition in the USA, the brothers tasted snacks made from hard cheese. They set themselves the goal of making something similar in Ukraine, and it turned out even better.

“Our product is completely natural. We are the only ones with a patent stating that we add absolutely nothing to the cheese during drying. So it's pure milk. We leave the cheese exactly as it was made from the milk and only remove the moisture.” — Pylyp Gryshyn, co-founder of snEco.

With both Ukrainian cheeses and Parmesan and Gouda from the Netherlands, snEco works its magic. Special drying without overheating dehydrates the pieces of cheese. 100 g of cheese yields 40 g of crunchy cheese bites.

“This technology is called microwave vacuum drying. It was actually invented by NASA, yes! So that the food that they give astronauts in orbit would weigh as little as possible but be as beneficial as possible.” — Pylyp Gryshyn, co-founder of snEco. In Mukachevo, snEco fulfilled a long-held dream: they switched to solar energy.
“Solar panels are a project we made happen right here in Transcarpathia, because the region seems made for drawing energy from renewable sources. Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region don't get as much sun, and it isn't economically viable there.” — Pylyp Gryshyn, co-founder of snEco.
Besides the environment, the company also cares about our defenders, both men and women. In the first days of the invasion, without a second thought, they gave away all the spare funds in their accounts. In total, more than UAH 500,000 was transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “My dream is that my children (my son was born here, in Mukachevo, he's already my third child) grow up as Ukrainians and are proud of their country. Above all, of their free country, that it will always be a free, united, independent Ukraine.” — Pylyp Gryshyn, co-founder of snEco.
