Snacks for kids for school and outings: crunchy cheese with no sugar
Cheese bites made of nothing but cheese: no sugar, no “substitute” sweets, colourings, preservatives or oil. They crunch like your favourite crisps but provide protein and calcium. A 14 g mini pack is just right for one school break, doesn’t melt in a backpack and needs no fridge.
What’s wrong with most kids’ snacks
Muesli bars, fruit leathers, corn puffs and “yoghurt” biscuits all have one thing in common: sugar or syrup in second or third place on the ingredient list. Even the “healthy” options made with date paste are mostly fast carbs. Crisps and croutons add oil and flavour enhancers. As a result, the child isn’t full after the snack and an hour later is asking for “something tasty” again.
snEco dried cheese follows a different logic. These are pieces of real hard cheese with the water removed under vacuum at 36–38 °C. They’ve become crunchy — that is, “like crisps”, which matters to kids — but they’re still cheese: 46–49 g of protein per 100 g, calcium, 0 g added sugar. One 14 g mini pack gives a child about 7 g of protein, about the same as one egg.
An ingredient list you can actually read
Cheese: pasteurised milk, salt, starter culture, enzyme. The “Cosmic” and mozzarella are the same, with no additives.
No mess, no melting
The dry bites don’t stick to fingers, textbooks or screens. A pack can sit in a backpack for weeks.
Keeps them full for longer
The protein and fat in cheese keep you full better than a bun — no sugar cravings before lunch.
Which flavours suit kids

| Cheddar | for those who like a bolder flavour | 2.8 g | 14 g, 28 g |
For kids: what to pick
For school, clubs and the road
- Snack at break time. A 14 g mini pack + an apple or cucumber is a complete snack with protein and fibre, no sugar. Instead of biscuits and juice.
- After sports or dance class. A 28 g pack gives 13 g of protein — just what’s needed for recovery, and your child will make it home without an “I’m hungry” meltdown.
- On the road and on the plane. Doesn’t melt, doesn’t crumble the way biscuits do, needs no fridge. More details — travel snacks.
- Instead of crisps with cartoons. A bowl of crunchy bites instead of a bag of crisps: the same “crunch”, but made of cheese.
- A set for the week. the SMALL set — 5 mini packs in different flavours, one for each school day.
Salt, age and allergens: the honest facts
- Milk. It’s cheese, so the product contains milk protein and traces of lactose. Not suitable for children with cow’s milk protein allergy.
- Salt. Only as much as is in the cheese itself: 1.9–3.1 g per 100 g in the kids’ flavours, i.e. 0.3–0.4 g per 14 g mini pack. That’s less than in a slice of bread with cheese.
- Crunchiness. Like any hard, crunchy food (croutons, nuts, apples), give it to small children under adult supervision.
- Nuts. Only in the mixes (20 g). Pure-cheese 14 and 28 g packs contain no nuts, but are made in the same facility.
