Short answer: 480–690 kcal per 100 g depending on the flavour, or 135–195 kcal per 28 g pack. These are cheese calories: protein and milk fat, with almost no carbohydrates. The lightest is SUPERFOOD (478 kcal, 60 g of protein), the most calorie-dense is Primaggio (688 kcal, 53 g of protein). All figures below are taken from the labels, per 100 g of product.

“Cheese + nut” mixes (20 g): 568–705 kcal per 100 g, 27–31 g of protein, 43–58 g of fat, 7–14 g of carbohydrates — i.e. 115–140 kcal per 20 g pack. Crispy olives: 579 kcal, 4.6 g of protein, 55.8 g of fat, 3.4 g of carbohydrates.
Why there are “so many” calories
Because there’s no water. Fresh Gouda has about 350 kcal per 100 g, but 40% of its weight is water. Take the water away and the same calories fit into 60 g. That’s why comparing dried cheese with fresh cheese per 100 g is misleading; the fair comparison is per serving. In calories, a 28 g pack equals 70 g of fresh cheese, two eggs fried in butter or a handful of nuts, and in protein it beats all of them.
How to count it in your diet
- One serving is one pack. 28 g = 135–195 kcal, 12–17 g of protein. That’s a full snack, not a “light” one.
- On keto, count carbs: 0.3–0.6 g per pack for plain cheeses, 1.5–3 g for the mixes. More details — keto snacks.
- For muscle gain, look at protein: SUPERFOOD and Primaggio provide 15–17 g per pack. More details — Protein snack.
- For weight loss, the flavours with less fat are the better choice: SUPERFOOD (24 g) and smoked Sulguni (40 g). One pack instead of a pastry with your coffee — and you stay full until lunch.
- Salt: 0.5–0.9 g per pack in most flavours, 1.7 g in smoked Sulguni. The WHO recommends no more than 5 g per day.
