In short. The ingredients and taste are the same in every size — the only difference is how much snack is in the pack and which situation it suits. 14 g is for one go, 20 g is the nut mixes, 28 g is the standard pack, 500 g is for venues and for those who already know their flavour.
Quick comparison
| Pack size | Who it’s for | Protein per pack* | Price per gram* | Shelf life |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 14 g | Try a flavour, take it with you | about 7 g | ~4.2 ₴ | 18 months |
| 20 g | “Cheese + nut” mixes | depends on the nut | ~3.0 ₴ | 8 months |
| 28 g | Everyday snack | 13–14 g | ~3.4 ₴ | 18 months |
| 500 g | Venues, family, stocking up | about 240 g | ~2.0 ₴ | 8 months |
*Based on Gouda. Protein varies by flavour: from 31.7 g per 100 g in Blue Royale to 60 g in Superfood. The 500 g bag has a shorter shelf life — 8 months versus 18 for the packs.

14 g — a “one-go” portion
The smallest pack. It’s the one people grab when the snack needs to travel with them: in a jacket pocket, the glove box, a child’s backpack, carry-on luggage. The pack is opened and eaten in one go, so there’s no question of what to do with the leftovers.
It’s also the cheapest way to try a new flavour. If you don’t yet know whether you like smoked Sulguni, there’s no point buying 500 g straight away — take a mini pack for 59 ₴.
A 14 g pack has about 7 g of protein — the same as one chicken egg. For a snack between meetings, that’s usually enough to tide you over until a proper meal.
20 g — “cheese + nut” mixes
A format made specifically for the mixes. The cheese and nut are dried together at the same low temperature, so the nut isn’t roasted — it keeps its own flavour rather than taking on that typical “toasted” note.
The combinations vary: Gouda with hazelnut, Cheddar with almond, Mozzarella with cashew, Sulguni with peanut, Primaggio with walnut. This is more than just a snack — it’s a quick appetiser, handy to put on the table when guests drop by, without having to come up with anything more complicated.
28 g — the standard pack
The most popular format and the one you’ll most often see on shop shelves. It’s designed for one person per day, or for two if you share.
A 28 g pack of Gouda has about 13.5 g of protein. For comparison, that’s roughly the same as 60 g of chicken breast, only without the fridge, fork or reheating. That’s why this format goes to the gym, to the office and on the road.
It also has the widest choice of flavours: Gouda, Cheddar, Sulguni, Mozzarella, Primaggio, Emmental, Superfood, Cosmic.

500 g — for those who’ve already decided
A large bag. It’s bought by venues — bars, cafés, caterers — and by families who eat the snack regularly and don’t want to reorder every week.
The main reason to buy 500 g is the price per gram. Gouda in a 28 g pack costs 94 ₴, i.e. about 3.4 ₴ per gram. The same cheese in a 500 g bag is 999 ₴, which is 2 ₴ per gram. That’s a difference of roughly 40%.
But there’s a catch we should be honest about: the large bag has a shorter shelf life — 8 months versus 18 for single-serve packs. The reason is simple: a 28 g pack stays sealed until you open it, whereas you open the 500 g bag once and then store it yourself. So 500 g makes sense if you finish it within a few weeks rather than putting it in the cupboard “for later”.
Which one is right for you
- Trying snEco for the first time — go for 14 g or a small set of different flavours. A cheap way to find out what’s yours.
- Want an everyday snack — 28 g. One flavour a week, then switch.
- Packing it for kids to take to school — 14 g: one pack for one go, nothing left in the backpack by evening.
- Serving it with wine or beer — 20 g mixes or 28 g packs of several flavours at once.
- Bar, café, catering — 500 g and boxes. Better value per gram, less packaging in the bin.
Frequently asked questions
Do the ingredients differ between sizes?
No. The same cheese, the same drying technology. Only the weight and packaging differ.
Why does 500 g keep for less time than 28 g?
A single-serve pack stays sealed until you eat it. A large bag you open once, and after that the product is exposed to the air and humidity of your kitchen. That’s why the shelf life is set more conservatively.
How many servings are in 500 g?
About 18 servings of 28 g. If one person eats the snack once a day, that’s almost three weeks.
Is there a format for HoReCa?
Yes: 500 g bags and branded boxes of 15 or 25 packs — ready for counter display.
